Enable for Pending Status

What does this setting do?

The “Enable for pending status” option controls how Trackify handles orders that are created with a Pending payment status.

This determines whether those orders are tracked immediately or only after payment is completed.

How it works

When the setting is disabled (unchecked)

  • Trackify will wait and monitor the order for up to 8 hours

  • During this time, it checks whether the order status changes from Pending to Paid

  • If the status changes within 8 hours:

    • ✅ The order will be tracked

  • If the status does not change:

    • ❌ The order will be skipped and not tracked

👉 This ensures that only confirmed (paid) orders are tracked.

When the setting is enabled (checked)

  • Trackify will immediately track all pending orders

  • It does not wait for the payment status to change

👉 This means:

  • Orders are tracked even if payment is not completed

  • Useful for stores with delayed payment methods

When should I enable this?

Enable this setting if:

  • You use Cash on Delivery (COD) or similar payment methods

  • Payments are completed after order creation

  • You want to capture all purchase events

Keep this disabled if:

  • You only want to track successful (paid) orders

  • You want more accurate conversion data

Example scenarios

  • A customer places an order with Pending status

    • Enabled → Order is tracked immediately

    • Disabled → Tracked only if payment is completed within 8 hours

  • A customer never completes payment

    • Enabled → Order is still tracked

    • Disabled → Order is not tracked
