Suppressing Feed Products by Tag
Trackify allows you to exclude specific products from all catalog feeds using simple Shopify product tags. This is useful when you need to quickly remove products from Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs) without rebuilding catalogs or ads.
How Product Suppression Works
Trackify automatically excludes products from all catalog feeds if they contain one of the following Shopify product tags:
pp_excluderr_track_exclude
Once applied, the product:
Will not appear in Trackify catalog feeds
Will be excluded from Dynamic Product Ads
Does not require rebuilding or reconnecting the catalog
How to Exclude Products from Trackify Catalogs
Step 1: Add the Exclusion Tag in Shopify
Log in to Shopify Admin
Go to Products
Open the product you want to exclude
In the Tags section, add one of the following tags:
pp_exclude
or
rr_track_exclude
Click Save
Step 2: Sync the Catalog
Trackify will automatically update the catalog in next update cycle (2-3 hours).
Important Notes
These tags exclude products from all Trackify catalog feeds
Use catalog sets in Meta if you only want selective exclusions per campaign
Suppressed products will not be available for:
Dynamic Product Ads
Catalog-based retargeting
Product sets generated by Trackify
