Multi-chart mode

You can enable the multi-chart mode by clicking on the "Select Layout" button at the top of your chart. You can select up to 8 charts.

You can maximize the chart you need by clicking the 'Maximize chart' button or by pressing Alt+Enter or Alt+Click on the chart.

To switch between charts in a multi-chart layout, just press Tab.

Change Symbol

You can change the symbol / contract by clicking the current symbol and typing the contract symbol in the search box. For information on how to have your charts automatically update other components on change, see here.

You can also click on the chart and type directly into your keyboard the name of the symbol.

Custom indicators

Currently, creating custom indicators is not supported. The charts include all the standard indicators available in TradingView charts but do not include the functionality for custom indicators, yet. Unfortunately, this is due to limitations with their commercial licensing, and out of our control.

Historical data

ProjectX charts provide data up to one year in the past.

Chart Settings

TradingView's chart settings allow traders to personalize their chart layouts. To access these settings, click the gear icon in the chart's top-right corner or right-click in the chart and select "Settings" to open a pop-up window. Here, you can adjust:

  • Symbol: Change the candlestick and price line display (e.g. High and Low price)

  • Status Line: Adjust the ticker and indicator status lines

  • Scales: Change the chart scales and add price labels (e.g. Symbol name, Indicator name, etc.)

  • Canvas: Modify the chart's appearance (e.g. Background color, scale text size/color, margins, etc.)

News Events

ProjectX will automatically pull in High Impact news events and plot them on your charts. This allows for quick access to see when potential marketing making moves may ocurr. If you click on a marker, you will see the event:

High Impact news event(s)

To remove these marks from your charts, simple right click anywhere on the chart and click "Hide Marks on Bars"
