Exporting trade data from Questrade into a file
Open IQ Edge, click "Tools" (at the top), then click Account.
Right-click the "Orders" Tab and select "Edit Columns".
In the new window, you must select all available columns and click Ok.
Click on "Range" and select the date range of trades you would like to export.
For certain types of accounts, Questrade only allows the export of trades from the last 30 days.
Right-click on "Orders" again, and click "Export..."
Save the file to your desktop and upload it into TradeZella.
Uploading the exported file into TradeZella
Visit the TradeZella Add Trade page here or by clicking the “Add Trade” button on the sidebar.
On the Add Trade page, click “Add New Account” if you’re creating a new account for these trades.
If you’re uploading trades to an existing account, simply click on the “Add Trades” button in the account field:
On the Add New Account page, select Questrade as the broker and click Continue.
Next, select the File Upload method and click Continue again.
On the final step, select the timezone of the file and upload the file. The system will handle the rest.
