The first step in creating your Playbook is to set your different trading rules according to your strategy and trading style. Define your playbook by setting Playbook Rules and Groups.

πŸ’‘ Playbook Groups:

Group your rules into different categories according to your preference: By default you will see your rules categorized into three different groups:

  1. Entry Criteria
What are some entry conditions for this playbook?
Ex: Gap Up above key level

  2. Exit Criteria
What are some exit triggers for this playbook?
Ex: Take Profit of 5 points hit

  3. Market Conditions :

Any specific market conditions or behaviors?

    Ex: SPY above XYX

Create your own Custom Group:

To create your own custom group, you can click the + Create New Group icon.
Title your New Group and hit CREATE.

πŸ’‘ Define your Rule Criteria:

This is to indicate when to show this specific rule based on the trade outcome. Should this rule be displayed only when:

  • When trade is a winner

  • When trade is a loser

  • When trade is a breakeven

  • Always show this rule

πŸ’‘ Assign trades to your Playbook and Review

Now it's time to review your trades and track whether you've been following the rules according to your playbook.

Click on a trade from the trade log, and check off how many rules were followed in the actual trade execution.
