Various Improvements for Excel download/ Master Data download
Goal
Enhance the Master Data download and upload functionalities to include additional fields and improve data management.
New features:
Rate Zone Export to Excel:
Handling Units: Now supports multiple values, separated by commas (e.g., HU1, HU2, HU3).
Shipping Containers: Now supports multiple values, separated by commas.
Index Formula: Included in the export.
Index Application Date: Included in the export.
Order Type: Included in the export.
Master Data Upload File:
Index Formula: Now supported in the upload file.
Index Application Date: Now supported in the upload file.
Currency Exchange Rates: Now supported in the upload file
Ocean Booking remove/delete improvements
Background
Within Control Tower, it is possible to delete or remove ocean bookings within a Transport Order. While removing only affects the Ocean Booking of the current Transport Order, deleting removes the Ocean Booking from all related Transport Orders (e.g., multiple Transport Orders referring to the same Ocean Booking).
βGoal
Ensure that users are aware of the impact of deleting an Ocean Booking. To achieve this, a new permission has been introduced.
Additionally following improvements have been introduced:
Tool tip
History entry "Ocean booking removed"
If the user deleted it from the transport order it will apply to all related transport orders which was linked with the Ocean booking
If the user removes the Ocean booking we will show the same event name on the selected Transport order
Confirmation dialog, if the user clicks on "Delete"

Permission configuration:
Go to Control Tower Roles
Go to Features
Enable the Delete ocean booking/Remove ocean booking for allowed user groups
Delete Ocean Booking
Go to a transport order
Go to Multimodal section
Click on "Delete"
Apply Rail locations only if Rail stop is selected
To make it to the user easier to select the correct location, we will only provide Rail locations only if a stop type "Railway".
Service Level Allocation for Orders Created via Customer Portal
Background
Previously, all orders created via the Customer Portal had a service level, but the user filling this in via Customer Portal did not know the correct service level.
βGoal
As a customer, you can now set up your customer portal settings using Material Order/Sales order form settings to define which service level will be applied for each of your customers.

Go to Customer Portal Settings
Go to Order logic tab
Select a Service level which is used as fallback if no Material Order form rule to find a service level will apply
In the case the check box is selected, only one Service Level can be selected as fallback

New field for address: Administrative Area (State/Region)
Goal
To provide the additional information of a state/region/province the additional field within the location have been added.

Based on the address the field within locations will be filled automatically if detected and can be overwritten.
As well the administrative Area will be shown to the address places.
Transport Orders file upload improvements
Various fields have been added to improve the transport order file upload functionality.
For example:
Billing vehicle type
Carrier Code
Dimension fields
Override gross weight
Stackability max
Logistic flow (Inbound / Outbound)

Overwrite Office Hours manually
Background
In our last release, we introduced the automatic consideration of office hours for transport orders (see Release Notes - 2024 v8 ). However, we recognize that there are cases where adjustments are needed, such as during special holidays.
βGoal
Enable users to manually overwrite office hours in transport orders to accommodate special circumstances.
Remark: Once the "Office Hours" is edited the automatic calculation will not run again.

New columns Transport Order Grid - Requestor
Within the Transport Order grid its possible to select 2 new columns:
Requestor name
Requestor department
If more as one value is given from the Material Order it will be shown concatenated.
Configuration Auto-complete collection/delivery schedule Material order "Activated Transport Orders"
To offer an option to configure when the Auto-completion of the Scheduled times for Collection and Delivery should happen a new setting option has been introduced.
This feature ensures that schedule calculations are more accurate and relevant to the actual activation status of the orders.

New checkbox "Only Activated orders" has been added to the Material Order settings when "Auto-complete" Schedule Calculation is selected.
When "Only Activated orders" is selected:
The dates for the schedule will be calculated only when the order status is moved to "Ready for Pickup".
A new option in the dropdowns for collection/delivery schedule will appear, "Order activation date".
If "Order activation date" is selected, the schedules will be calculated based on the activation date.
New Event for resolved Geo coordinates less than "high"

To inform users upfront if a geo coordinate is not resolved with high quality, an event can be sent which gives the users the option to react.

Activate the event "Collect or delivery location has low quality
The event is triggered , if there the Material order is added/changed and have low/no quality of the geo code resolving
the Material Order event will summarize which locations are not resolved with "High" quality
Order restriction for Scheduled Dates of a Multimodal-Ocean Transport removed

As different parties are involved to deliver scheduled dates like a Pre-carriage Road carrier or a freight forwarder or an ocean liner we removed the restriction to have the Scheduled Dates in sequence.
Light Optimization Loading Meter
To ensure the size of the truck the Loading Meter considering the assigned truck will be adapted.
