Bookings help you keep track of every reservation in one place. Whether you create them manually or from an invoice, Bookings let you monitor payments, outstanding balances, and reservation details as your trips progress.
In this article, you'll learn how to:
Create a Booking manually
You can create a Booking manually or directly from an invoice.
1. Open Bookings
Select the Business Hub in the navigation bar, then choose Bookings under the CRM header.
2. Select + New Booking
This opens a new Booking record.
3. Enter your Booking details
Add the information for the reservation you'd like to track. The more details you include, the easier it is to manage payments, commissions, and trip information later. Add in information like:
Supplier information
Reservation status
Multiple travel components
Commission percentages
Travel related dates
4. Select Save and Close
Your Booking will now appear in your Bookings list.
Create a Booking from an invoice
Creating a Booking from an invoice connects the reservation to that invoice for easier tracking.
1. Open the invoice
Navigate to the trip invoice you'd like to use.
Note: Bookings created from an invoice won't appear in your Bookings list until the invoice has been sent to the traveler.
2. Select the + icon
Next to the invoice line item, select the + icon, then choose Add New Booking.
3. Enter the Booking details
Select a Booking that is not linked to a trip or select + Add new booking to create a new entry. Then complete the Booking information.
4. Select Save and Close
Once saved, the Booking will be linked to the invoice. It will also populate in the Bookings tab under the trip menu for easier access and overall tracking.
