Transferring Trips/Library Items When Leaving a Team Account

What should I do if I want to take some of the trips I worked on in a team account with me after leaving the team?

If you were on a team account, all trips created in the team will remain in the admin's account. However, if you want to take some trips with you to an individual account (or to another team), you can follow these steps to transfer your trips.

1) Make sure you have an active account after leaving the team

Before you leave the team, you will want to enable "save a copy" on every itinerary and "share library template to web" for any library items that you want to bring to your new account.

2) After enabling the copy feature on all of your items, copy the link to each item and add the links to a Word/Google doc.

This will streamline the process and make it easier to save all of your items in your new account.

3) After leaving the Team, log in to your new account, and click on the links that you saved in the Word/Google doc. You will be able to choose "save a copy" which will save the items to your account.

NOTE: the process will be the same if you are joining another team. You will just need to have an active account individually or with another team to transfer your trips.

If you have already left the team, you will need to request that the admin do this process for you.

Once you are out of the team, the admin can assist you in sending the trips you want to keep to your active account. The admin can share those trips with you by making the trips available to copy and sending you the link

4) Save the trips in your account

After your admin has sent those trips over to your account or you have opened the links from your document, you will be able to save a copy of those trips by clicking on the button "Save a copy", this will look like this:

After saving a copy the trips will be now in your new account!
