How to Use My Flights in TravelSmarter

My Flights is your record of all flights you have added to TravelSmarter. Each entry shows the airline, flight number, route, date, class, price, points earned, and Tier Points.

Accessing My Flights

Click My Flights in the left-hand navigation menu. Your flights are organized into two tabs:

  • Booked: Confirmed flights that count towards your loyalty program progress and status forecasting.

  • Draft: (Paid users only) Flights you are considering before booking. Points from draft flights do not count towards your progress or forecasting until you move them to Booked.

Understanding Your Flights

Each flight entry displays:

  • Airline: The two-letter IATA airline code (e.g. BA)

  • Flight: The flight number (e.g. BA444)

  • Departure: The departure airport code

  • Destination: The arrival airport code

  • Date: The date the flight was flown

  • Class: The cabin class flown (e.g. Business)

  • Price: The ticket price paid

  • Points: The total loyalty points earned from this flight

  • Tier Points: The Tier Points earned from this flight

  • Edit button: A pencil icon to edit the flight record

  • Delete button: A red bin icon to remove the flight

Moving Draft Flights to Booked

(Paid users only)

When you decide to book a flight you previously saved as a draft:

  1. Go to My Flights > Draft

  2. Find the draft flight you want to move

  3. Click the move button to transfer it to Booked

  4. Once moved to Booked, the flight's points will be allocated to your loyalty program progress and factored into your status forecasting

Important: If a flight remains in Draft, its points will not be counted towards your progress or status forecasts.

Viewing Your Points in My Points

Click My Points in the navigation menu to view:

  • Total Points: Your aggregate points across all booked flights

  • Points per Flight: A detailed breakdown of points earned from each booked flight

  • Loyalty Program Totals: Points organized by loyalty program (e.g. Avios, United MileagePlus)

Note: Only booked flights contribute to your My Points totals. Draft flights do not factor into these balances or forecasting until you move them to booked status.

Adding Multiple Flights at Once

At the bottom of the flight list, click Add or update multiple flights at once to bulk-import flight records.

Editing a Flight Record

Click the pencil (edit) icon on the flight row you want to modify. Update the relevant fields and save your changes. Updates reflect immediately in My Flights, My Points, and Analytics.

Deleting a Flight Record

Click the red bin (delete) icon to remove the flight from your log and from your points totals.

Next Steps

  • Use the Flight Calculator to estimate points before logging a flight

  • Visit Analytics to see your total points, tier progress, and travel statistics

  • Check the Elite Status guide to understand how your flights contribute to status progress
