Backdating salary changes allows you to apply adjustments to an employee's pay for a previous period, ensuring their compensation reflects the intended changes from the appropriate start date.
This feature is useful for situations where salary adjustments were missed or need to be applied retroactively. It ensures accurate payroll records and maintains compliance with compensation policies.
Go to Employees in the configure portal.
Select the employee whose salary or hourly rate needs to be updated.
Head over to the Employment History tab.
To view the history, such as salary/hourly rate and holiday entitlement, click View.
Select Edit to edit the salary/hourly rate, and then click Update to save the change.
