Logit can't recognise my user account

When you're required to reset your password each time you log in

Updated over a week ago

Some users have reported that after resetting their password and attempting to log in, the system continuously displays an "Invalid username or password" message. This may be caused by stored browser data conflicting with the newly set credentials.

Step-by-Step Solution

1. Reset Your Password Again

  1. Go to the login page.

  2. Click on Forgotten your password?.

  3. Enter your email address, then click Reset Password.

  4. You'll receive an email containing instructions to reset your password.

  5. Choose a strong and unique password that you haven’t used before.

2. Clear Browser Cookies and Cache

Sometimes, your browser remembers old credentials or cached data, which can interfere with logging in after a password change.

To clear cookies and cache:

Chrome:

  • Click the three dots (⋮) > Settings

  • Go to Privacy and Security

  • Click Clear browsing data

  • Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files

  • Click Clear Data

Safari:

  • Go to Safari > Preferences

  • Click Privacy

  • Click Manage Website Data > Remove All

After clearing cookies, restart your browser and try logging in again.

Still Not Working?

If you're still being asked to reset your password:

  • Make sure you're entering the most recent password you created.

  • Try logging in via incognito/private browsing mode to rule out any lingering cache issues.

  • Try a different browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.
