Ensuring your team is equipped with the right knowledge before carrying out their tasks is important. The document acknowledgement feature allows you to monitor who has reviewed the files and acknowledged the information.

You can allow the team to acknowledge the documents directly or via the selected document record.

Enable direct document acknowledgement

  1. Navigate to the Repository module in the Configure Portal.

  2. Locate the document type that you wish to enable the acknowledgement function and click Manage.

  3. Go to the Document Type Details tab, select "Enabled - Directly", and save the change.

  4. A new Acknowledgements tab will appear in every file associated with this document type. This section will display all users who have acknowledged the file.

In the Monitor Portal, users with access to this document type will see the Acknowledgement button when viewing the files.

Enable document acknowledgement via document record

  1. Navigate to the Repository module in the Configure Portal.

  2. Locate the document type that you wish to enable the acknowledgement function and click Manage.

  3. Go to the Document Type Details tab and select "Enabled - Use Document Record". Then a document record drop-down will appear.

  4. Choose the desired document record and save the changes.

  5. Then go to the selected document record and set up the trigger to acknowledge the document automatically. In the example below, when a record is submitted without issues, the file will be marked acknowledged by the user.
