You can quickly create assets in bulk and upload property details using the import template, saving time and reducing manual data entry.
💡Please note
Users must be granted access to Import Assets in order to see the feature. This permission can be enabled in the Roles settings.
To import assets, here are the steps:
Make sure relevant asset groups and asset properties are created.
Select Assets in the left-hand side bar and click on Import. Then you will be navigate to the asset import area.
Select the desired asset group and download the template.
Complete the template by following the instruction in the file.
Upload the template and choose to preview or import the data directly.
Preview (Validate Only) – You can preview the asset details and view valid or invalid information, allowing you to correct any mistakes before importing.
Import (Validate & Import) – You can validate and import the correct information directly. Any invalid asset details will be flagged and will not be imported.
