This edition of Extra offers details on Logit features and other information related to our products and team we think will be of interest. Please let us know what else we can include in future issues to make Extra better!
FOCUS FEATURE
We are pleased to confirm our partnership with Zapier! Logit can now be found in the Zapier applications, joining thousands of other established software providers on the journey to make life easier for our users.
Zapier connects your tools and software to streamline your mission-critical processes allowing a two-way interface between your favourite applications such as:
Excel
Outlook
Slack
Drobox
Meta
And many more
Making a zap allows you to define a trigger and resulting outcome, for example:
If negative feedback is left (in Logit), alert a manager’s channel in Slack with the details of the completed feedback form.
Or, if the NPS score drops below 4 (value) then create an audit to be completed by management (in Logit).
Join the teams already utilising Logit’s API connectors on this simple to use application. For details on how to get started, contact your Logit team at support@trisaas.com.
MEET TEAM LOGIT
Andy Mather - Chief Technology Officer
Andy is our fearless CTO, leading the trisaaS development team since 2020. Prior to triSaaS, Andy was Head of Development (Procure Wizard) at The Access Group and before then, Technical director at Procure Wizard – William Gorol’s (triSaaS founder and managing director) previous company.
Tell us about your professional journey – what’s led you to this point?
I originally studied Physics at university, I was always the programmer in the group having spent my spare time developing software from an early age, including some terrible games which are still floating around the internet! After a long 8-year stint at university, I had my fill of research and so took a job at Money Supermarket which was my first web programming role. From there I moved to a web agency working on all sorts of challenges, including one called Procure Wizard for a guy named William Gorol. I’ve been involved in B2B web solutions ever since.
What’s been the most challenging part in developing Logit?
Generally, as with most software development, deciding where to spend our development hours to get the best outcome for our customers is the most challenging part of my job.
What’s your favourite ‘success’ as it relates to the development of Logit?
I love how we can solve many different types of problem with the product for our customers. I often describe Logit as more like a box of tools – we can build all sorts of solutions to challenges thanks to our tools and the amazing onboarding team. Our job in development is to spot which tools we are missing or could be upgraded so they can solve even more customer problems.
What’s the next big ‘transformative’ technology that customers should start preparing for?
If anyone in IT does not say AI to this, I’d be shocked. Quite how or what it will do is still difficult to predict, but we are already seeing it impacting so many areas including software development itself. It is proving helpful to my son when completing homework assignments. In fact, I probably missed a trick not using it to complete these questions!
What’s one thing you would do differently if you knew then what you know now?
I should have bought bitcoin when someone mentioned it to me when it was priced around £200 😊 Seriously, I think it is better to look forward and focus time and energy on the things we can affect rather than dwell too much on the past.
DID YOU KNOW…
Bending the asset registry can create incredible results with some outside of the box thinking!
Continuing challenges set by our customers proves our incredible team and pushed Logit’s capabilities and flexibility to create options away from the original concept for use.
Recently a customer’s focus was to create a simple CRM process without absorbing additional costs.
On this journey, our ‘Build It’ team were able to create a lead form and record that gathers initial data with automated triggers for follow ups and action tasks. Utilising the asset groups, a pipeline process was quickly formed to monitor the stages throughout the sales cycle. The asset was then reassigned to a new customer profile at the start of the success journey and tracked key data including:
Dates
Values
Reviews
Termination
NPS
Agreements
Documentation
Contacts
And many more custom fields
This functionality led to developing our smart board feature that allows multiple views of the details at the click of a button, ranging from PPM to Allergy Matrix and more.
What a summer it has been. Our team have continued the back ground development features on the triSaaS platform which has secured and futureproofed our capabilities to integrate and authenticate with 3rd party systems as well as our own customer journey to seamlessly swap between products directly from their current logins.
Throughout August the focal areas of the development roadmap will see our team enhance several of our current features and user interface within Requests Management & reporting. Stay tuned for our update release section set to hit the support channel in the coming quarter.
