I can't see the maintenance/housekeeping/sensor board

Unable to see the smartboard, or the rooms/assets are not displaying on the board.

If your team members can't see the board in the Monitor Portal, the following may be the possible reasons:

1. Sites haven't been live yet

If you receive the message below when trying to access the smartboard, it may be because your sites are not live yet or the board has not been set up.


2. Rooms or assets hidden due to filters

If you are not able to view any of the rooms within the smartboard, as highlighted below, the most common reason for this is due to the view filter that you have on.

The individual view only shows rooms that have been allocated to you. If no rooms have been delegated to you, your view will be limited to reflect this.

To view all the rooms, you can update the view by swapping the view to the multi view.

Another reason followed after toggle is the filter. For instance, you would not see the rooms in red or amber if you didn't tick the relevant warning options.

3. Assets haven't created yet

If the assets haven't been created yet, the system cannot pull through them to the board.

To fix that, please create the required assets and assign them to the right location.


4. Assets aren't assigned to the right location

When assets are not assigned to the correct location within the system, the smartboard is unable to capture and display them accurately.

For example, if assets are assigned to specific areas like kitchens, they will not appear on the board if it is designed to show assets at the hotel level. To ensure all relevant assets are displayed, the location assignment must be corrected.
