Updated over a year ago

Steps to Build a New Load/Order

  1. Navigate to Orders

    • From the side navigation menu, click on Orders

  2. Start a New Load

    • On the Orders tab, click the blue + New Load button in the header

    • This will open the new order form, which is broken out into four main sections

      1. Order Info Section - add order and customer specific information

      2. Route Information Section - add pick-up, delivery, and or any intermediate stops

      3. Dispatch Section - specify who is responsible for trip(s) related to this order, (e.g., driver, carrier, dispatcher, truck, trailer, etc.)

      4. Attachments - upload any relevant attachments or documents related to the order

Building a Multi-Trip Order (Split Trips)

A multi-trip load, also known as split trips, is usually utilized when you have one driver handling the pickup and another driver handling the delivery.

  1. Add a Split a Trip

    • In the Route Information section, between two stops, there is a button to Add a Stop or Split a Trip

    • Click Split Trip to divide the route into two separate trips

  2. Assign Different Drivers

    • For each split trip, you can assign different drivers as needed

    • Continue splitting trips by clicking Split Trip again if more divisions are required

Undoing a Split Trip (Merge All Trips)

Undoing a split trip is necessary when you initially thought multiple drivers were needed but it turns out that the driver who picked up can also handle the delivery.

  1. Merge All Trips

    • If you need to undo the split action, go to the top of the Route Information section

    • After splitting a trip, a blue button labeled Merge All Trips will appear

    • Click this button to consolidate all trips back into one, reverting to a single trip for the order
