π‘ TrueReview won't be able to display the reviews on your dashboard if you add Google through the Custom Link option instead of logging into your account.
To view and reply to reviews, go to your Google Business Profile Manager.
There may be different reason why you may not want or be able to connect to Google through the API.

In order to connect to your Google My Business profile, Google requires permissions as a bundle.
π‘ This is a requirement that comes from the Google API as a package in order for TrueReview to be able to fetch your Google reviews and enable you to reply to them from the TrueReview dashboard. TrueReview does not have any way of creating listings, or delete your Google business listings.
Adding Google as a Custom Link
You can add your Google My Business review link as a Custom Link.
From your Settings page, click ADD ACCOUNT
From the list, click ADD next to the Custom Link option
Give it a title "Google"
In the URL, paste the review request URL (See below)
Find my Google My Business link

Make sure you are logged into your Google My Business account, then:
In Google search for your business name
You should see your Google listing show on the right side, as well as an admin view that you manage that business
Click the reviews from you listing
A popover will open with your reviews
Click "Get more reviews" button in the top right corner of the popover
A popover will open with your Google review link
Copy the URL and paste it in the URL input field when adding a Custom Link from your Settings page.

If you do not have access to your Google My Business account, you can find your review link another way.
Search for your business listing on Google
In your Google Maps Listing, click your reviews
From the top right corner, click Write a review
A popup will open to write a review
With the popup open, copy the URL from the browser and use that as the Custom Link URL. This will ensure that the popup to leave a review opens when customers click your Google link.
