Using Trunk Tools on Mobile
Working seamlessly in the field, you can text our AI directly or save the mobile web app to your home screen for quick access.
Using the Trunk Tools SMS Line
You can interact with Trunk Tools by simply sending a text.
Use your cell phone number as your login to Trunk Tools.
When you're first added to Trunk Tools, you'll get a text message from your Trunk Tools number.
That number is your personal textable number. It stays the same across all your projects. You can also find it in the web app's profile menu, under Your TrunkText Number.
Save the number in your phone as "Trunk Tools".
Your texts go to the last project you picked in the web app. When you switch projects in the web app, you'll get a text letting you know the project has changed.
Send your prompt or question just like you would in a normal text message.
Trunk Tools texts back a short answer (about 400 characters) with a link to open the full answer on the web. Tables are turned into plain lines of text in the reply.
Note: A text sent within 4 hours of your last one, about the same project, continues that conversation. After 4 hours, or if you've switched projects, a new conversation starts. Your texted conversations also appear on your desktop.
đĄ Tip: Once the contact is saved to your phone, pin it in your Messages app. This will allow you to use your phone's voice assistant. Try saying "Hey Siri/Google - text Trunk Tools [enter question/command here]"
