Pencil is a tool for creatives with the focus on there being a ‘human in the loop’ throughout the creative process. Pencil aims to work with you to generate assets and outputs that are 70-100% of the way to their final state, hence some post-production work may be necessary.

Pencil provides a range of editing and refining tools within the Image Generation platform that should enable you to undertake most, if not all, of any necessary post-production. A guide to the tools available can be found here.

What typically needs doing in post-production?

The more complex changes may involve swapping out placeholder assets for approved packshots. The easier fixes will involve correcting distortions of hands, eyes, and the removal of AI artefacts (random distorted objects).

Typically, manual corrections take between thirty minutes to two hours per image depending on the complexity of the work required.
