Where can I download Platform 5?

Download links for Platform 5 can be found in the trader dashboard under the Downloads tab. To ensure the platform functions correctly, please remove any previous versions of Platform 5 from your PC before installation. Platform 5 is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.

What are the technical requirements to run Platform 5?

To use Platform 5 effectively, your system must meet the following requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows XP or more recent

  • Screen Resolution: Minimum of 1024x768

  • Internet Connection: Speed of 36.6 Kbps or faster

Can I trade my Tycoon Funded account using the Platform 5 mobile app?

Yes, you can trade your Tycoon Funded account using both the PC application and the mobile app for Platform 5.

What types of orders can I place on Platform 5?

Platform 5 supports a variety of order types to suit different trading needs:

  • Market Orders: Executed at the best available price when the order is received.

  • Limit Orders (including Take Profit order): Executed at the order rate or better. Sell limits are filled at the bid price; buy limits are filled at the offer price.

  • Stop Orders: Triggered once a pre-defined price is reached, becoming a market order executed at the next available price.

    • Stop Entry Orders: Buy above the current price or sell below it, ideal for targeting specific price levels in trending markets.

    • Stop Loss Orders: Used to limit risk by closing a long position below the current price or a short position above it.

How can I check spreads while using Platform 5?

We will soon host a spread account feature that allows traders to view spreads directly on Platform 5 before purchasing an account.

Can I download Platform 5 on mobile?
