Joining an account
If your organization is already on Typsy, you do not need to signup for a new account. Instead, you will either:
1. Receive a Typsy email invite with details on how to join your organization online
2. Receive a unique code with details on how to join your organization online
Not received your Typsy email invite? First, check your Junk and Spam folders - sometimes our emails may find their way there! If you still can't find your invite, talk with your manager or instructor and ask them to resend one to you.
Account types
We offer two account types on Typsy - Individual and Business.
Individual accounts
Individual accounts are designed for those who work in the hospitality industry and are keen to learn new skills. This account is not linked to any other account on Typsy.
This account type includes:
Access to the Typsy content library
Downloadable resources
Quizzes to test your knowledge
The ability to earn certificates
Your own public profile

Business accounts
Business accounts are designed for those who own, manage, or train staff in one or many hospitality venues. It is also used by those who teach hospitality students at a vocational school, college, or university.
Only set up a Typsy business account if you are a manager or an instructor for the organization and have express consent from the organization to create an account for them.
This account type includes:
Access to the Typsy content library for you and others in your account
Downloadable resources
Quizzes to test knowledge for you and others in your account
Add members to your account and assign them training
The ability to earn certificates for you and others in your account
Reports on training and account usage
Upload your own custom videos to your private Typsy library
