When entering an email address to invite a member to Typsy, you may get one of two error messages:

This is not a common email domain, please check that the spelling is correct as there may be an error.

OR

Invalid email address.

Usually, this means something is not quite right with your member's email address.

Double-check the email address of the person you are inviting and check for things like:

  • Extra space somewhere in the email address

  • More than one ‘@’ sign

  • You’re entering ‘@gmail’ or ‘@yahoo’ instead of ‘@gmail.com’ or ‘@yahoo.com’

  • Their domain name is spelled wrong

If your business uses a custom domain name for emails, we also recommend that you whitelist hello@typsy.com and tribe@typsy.com to ensure you and your team receive our emails.

Typsy tip:

If an email bounces in the Typsy system, you can always edit it on the member's profile.
