Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a very important way to protect your online security. It adds an additional level of protection by requiring not only a password but also a second verification method. This makes it much more difficult for unauthorized users to access your accounts.

By default, two-factor authentication is performed by sending an SMS to your phone number. You can also switch to using an authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator):

To change your 2FA method:

  1. Go to your account Settings

  2. Click on Security

  3. Under two-factor options, select “SMS” or “Authenticator App” by clicking the star icon next to your preferred method

If you change your two-factor authentication method, you’ll need to verify it using the previously active method.
