The Primary Euro Account is used to:

  • Open and hold an account with Wickie from a wider range of countries

  • Deposit other currencies, which are automatically converted to euros with no extra fees Check here

  • Send euros to other Wickie users without any fees

It’s a convenient and flexible way to manage your euro funds on the Wickie platform.

Common reasons for bank transfer issues

  1. Incorrect beneficiary name: use "GreatIdea UAB" as the beneficiary name.

  2. Inaccurate reference information: ensure your Wickie account number or your name appears in the reference field to prevent errors.

  3. Wrong account details: ensure IBAN and all bank details are entered correctly.

It is important to use "GreatIdea UAB" as the correct beneficiary name. For instance, using personal names like "Thomas Greven" causes errors and transaction failures.

Always confirm Wickie’s IBAN and bank details before transferring to avoid sending funds to an incorrect account.

Troubleshooting common errors

If a transfer fails:

  • Verify beneficiary details: confirm the correct IBAN and "GreatIdea UAB" as the beneficiary.

  • Correct reference issue: if the reference is wrong, update it with the correct details.

  • Contact support: provide proof if the issue persists for further assistance.

Preventive tips

  • Double-check all provided transfer details before confirming payment.

  • Save Wickie's accurate bank details in your banking app for hassle-free future transfers.

Most of our users find that managing their finances is easiest and most cost-effective through a personal IBAN account at Wickie. However, for users who don’t yet meet the requirements for a personal IBAN, the Primary Euro Account is a great alternative for receiving euro transfers and managing funds. Even if you already have a personal IBAN, your Primary Euro Account can still be very useful — especially when sending other countries currencies to Wickie. These funds will be automatically converted to euros and credited to your balance without any additional fees.

🏦 How it works

  • You send EURO from your financial institution to the IBAN shown under your “Primary Euro Account” in the Wickie app or web dashboard.

  • The transfer is received securely and matched to your account using the provided payment reference.

  • Once received, the funds are added to your balance — usually within a short time.

⚠️ Important: Always include the correct reference code when making the transfer so we can identify your payment quickly and accurately. Incorrect reference codes can lead to payment delays or failures. Make sure your Wickie account number is precise and matches the details provided during transfer initiation.
