Who can get a personal IBAN account at Wickie?
The EEA (European Economic Area) includes EU countries plus Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway — customers from this area are eligible for an IBAN account at Wickie. However, the availability of IBAN accounts is subject to the E-Money Institution partner's capability to provide the service in the respective region.
Automatic IBAN allocation for users registering after July 8, 2024 New Wickie users automatically receive an IBAN account upon registration, streamlining transactions and integrating seamlessly with your financial activities. This service is only available where the E-Money Institution partner supports the IBAN feature for the specific region.
How users registered before July 8, 2024 can request their personal Wickie IBAN
If you registered before July 8, 2024, and have not yet received an IBAN account, you can request one by reaching out to our customer support team. Simply send a request to support@wickie.io, and we will process your application so you can start enjoying the benefits it offers.
💡 Important: When using your Personal IBAN account at Wickie, incoming payments are accepted only via SEPA transfers. If the sending institution uses the TARGET2 system instead of SEPA, the payment will be rejected and returned to the sender.
