Examples of commonly accepted proof of address
World wide acceptable documents:
Utility bills (electricity, telephone, water, waste)
Bank/credit card statement
Tax invoice or government-issued residential statement/certificate
Accepted in some countries:
Tax assessment, valid for 1 year
Mortgage statement
Certificate of Voter Registration
Correspondence with a government agency regarding receipt of benefits such as pension, unemployment benefit, housing benefit, etc.
A current rental agreement signed by the landlord and tenant
Letter from a recognized authority or public official
Please note:
1. The document must contain your full name and residential address.
2. Both paper documents and electronic documents (PDF) are not accepted.
3. The documents should be issued within last 3 months.
Unacceptable proof of address documents:
Government correspondence older than 3 months
Bank statements older than 3 months
Pension notices
Insurance policies
Mobile phone bills
Medical bills
Receipts for purchases
Insurance certificates
Documents with PO Box addresses (except for some countries)
Please note: a single document cannot be used to verify both your identity and your proof of address. If you submit an ID document as Proof of Address (POA), you must provide a separate document to verify your identity.
