I. Making Informed Decisions
Before changing a submission's status, Admins should review the available data:
Evaluation Scores: Review the scores submitted by judges.
Public Votes: Check the results of the Public Voting round (if enabled).
Quiz Responses: Review the responses to the Quiz Questions (used for initial filtration).
This helps determine whether a submission meets the program’s standards or should be disqualified.
When to Disqualify
A submission should be disqualified if:
It is irrelevant to the program.
It falls below the quality threshold set for the program.
Disqualified entries are filtered and prevented from being assigned to judges, which keeps the evaluation process focused and efficient.
To learn more about screening submissions before judging, check the Enabling Initial Filtration guide.
II. Submission Status Labels
Each submission is marked with a clear status label in the Submissions tab:
Qualified: Submission has met program standards and is eligible for judging or progression.
Disqualified: Submission is rejected and will not proceed in the program.
Pending: Submission has not yet been reviewed or had a final decision applied.
What's Next?
Now that your submissions are filtered and labelled, you can experience the judges’ journey through the program.
