I. Accessing the Program
1. Setting Up and Logging In
Judges receive their credentials and login options via the invitation email:
Set Your Password: Open the invitation email and click the Set Password link. Create and confirm your password.
Method A — Password Login: Use the sign-in page to log in with your email and new password.
Method B — Instant Login (Magic Link): If your invitation includes an Instant Login button, click it to access your account directly without a password.
Note: If the Instant Login link has expired, you can click Request Instant Login to get a fresh link, or ask the organizer to resend the invitation.
2. Dashboard Overview
After successfully logging in, you will land on the Judge Dashboard. Here, you can quickly see:
The Program Name you are reviewing.
The Round Name you are currently assigned to evaluate.
II. Evaluating Submissions
1. Start the review process
Open Round: click the Round name on your dashboard to open your assigned submissions list.
Review Submissions: To start scoring submissions, click Evaluate.
Note: The evaluation form and criteria are configured by the organizer. Check Building Your Evaluation Form guide if needed.
2. Choosing Your Judging View
If enabled by the admin, use the View Switcher on the page header to select your preferred view:
Table View: A compact list displaying scores, progress, and quick actions in rows.
Card View: A visual grid of submission cards with status badges and actions.
Live Judging: Inline scoring interface that allows you to score multiple submissions on one screen.
3. Viewing and Scoring a Submission
A. Evaluate Mode (Side-by-Side)
This view is triggered when you click Evaluate.
Left Panel: Contains the Evaluation panel (criteria, selects, comments).
Right Panel: Displays a Preview of the Submission (participant answers and attachments).
Tip: Use the Expand option to view full responses.
B. Submission-Only Preview
Clicking the Submission Title/ID opens a dedicated Submission Details modal showing all participant answers only. Use the Start Evaluation button to switch into scoring mode when ready.
4. Completing the Evaluation
Use the left/right arrows at the far page edges (or within the Submission Details modal) to move between the previous/next submission.
Once scoring is complete:
Click Submit to submit your evaluation.
Choose what to do next:
Next Submission: To continue evaluating.
All Submissions: To return to the list.
Edit Evaluation: To go back and make changes (Only if allowed by admins).
