Overview

The Events Logs report is a complete history of user and automated actions taken in your Lister account. From updating admin settings, creating and processing manifests, to shipping and purging items, this report is invaluable for tracking accountability across all functions of Lister.

Table of Contents

How to Access the Event Logs Report

  1. Click the reports icon in the top right corner of Lister to navigate to the Reports page

  2. Click “Event Logs” in the left column

Date Range Filter

The date range filter is useful for narrowing down to events within a given period.

  1. Select a start and end date for the report to narrow search results to a specific timeframe

  2. Click the blue “Search” button to display the event logs for the selected dates

Using a date range filter is especially useful when tracking inventory location changes on a group of products on a given day.

For example, if a product was not assigned an inventory location, use the Event Logs for other products that were listed on the same day as the item without an inventory location to look up where similar products were stored in inventory.

In turn, this can help track down if the product was placed on a shelf without properly being assigned an inventory location as part of your inventory checks workflow.

User Filter

The User Filter limits search results to a specific teammate.

  1. Click the dropdown menu and select a user

  2. Click the blue “Search” button after selecting a teammate

Combined with our example above for tracking a missing item by date range, choosing only teammates who add or remove items from inventory is a great way to limit search results to those users. From there, you can view what products were given inventory locations and see the locations, then inspect those locations for a missing item.

Understanding the Event Logs Report
