  5. Select “Hide” (DO NOT hit “Exit”)

*Please Note: If refreshing the Web Connector does not work, then please proceed to the uninstall/reinstall steps below:

2. Uninstall and Reinstall Web Connector

Note: The user who did the original installation on the integration call with Kojo should do the uninstallation process.

Uninstall Steps

  1. Go to Edit —> Preferences —> Integrated Applications —> Company Preferences

  2. Select the Kojo Web Connector and click “Remove”. Click “OK”.

  3. Go to the Web Connector (File —> App Management -> Update Web Services)

  4. Click Remove next to the Kojo Web Connector

Install Steps

Note: Any user with QuickBooks Admin Access and logs into QuickBooks daily can do the installation process. Admin Access and Single User Mode are required to install the Kojo application.

  1. Go to File —> Update Web Services (NOTE: some QuickBooks versions will be File —>App Management —> Update Web Services)

  2. Click “Add an Application” and select the Kojo Web Connector from the file browser pop-up. Hit “Open”.

    1. A new pop-up screen will appear

      1. Select "Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running".

      2. Using the Login dropdown, select the username of a QuickBooks user (this user should be logging into QB daily).

      3. Leave box about accessing private data unchecked.

      4. Click “Continue”.

      5. The Kojo Web Connector application should now be installed and visible. Locate the window displaying the Kojo app. If you can’t find the window, repeat step 1 to open the Web Connector window.

  3. Enter the password provided by Kojo during the initial installation call.

    1. Click off the password field. Should receive prompt to save password. Hit “Yes”.

  4. Make sure “Auto Run” box is checked.

  5. Adjust “Every-Min” column if desired (determines how frequently the Web Connector runs). Do not go below 5 minutes.

  6. Select the checkbox to the left of the Kojo Web Connector.

  7. Hit the “Update Selected” button. This will kick off a connection with Kojo.

  8. Select “Hide” in the bottom right corner. DO NOT hit “Exit” or “X” as this will disrupt the connection.
