In this article, we will go over how to add a vendor to an additional vendor to an RFQ, as well as how to resend an RFQ if any changes have been made.

Add another vendor to an RFQ

If you have already created an RFQ (Request for Quote) and it has been sent to a vendor, you are unable to "change" the vendor, but you are able to add additional vendors that you need to quote your material, even if the RFQ has been sent out already!

Once you select the Vendor Contact(s) drop-down bar, you can scroll to find the vendor of your choice and select. Once you have selected the vendor, you will be prompted to send the RFQ to them (Note: this will not resend it to other vendors on the list).

You have successfully added a vendor to your RFQ!

Resend an RFQ to the associated vendors

If you have a bid that has been modified (change in items, due date, etc.), then you are able to resend the RFQ to the list of vendors that you have associated with it.

First, locate the Options tab at the top right of the RFQ, then select "Resend Bid", this will send the RFQ out to all the vendors in one click!

You have now successfully learned how to Add Another Vendor to an RFQ, and how to Resend an RFQ!!
