How to set up Whalar payment details for your Talent

Use this guide to set up your talent's payment details with ease!

πŸ“Œ If the Payments tab isn't visible in your talent's navigation menu, make sure their Brand Deals profile details have been filled out. For more information, visit this page.

1. Log in to your Talent Manager account.

2. Go to Talent >> My Roster, where you'll see all the creators you currently manage.

3. Scroll the page to locate the talent in question, or use the search bar at the top to look them up by name or handle. Once located, click on the talent name in their profile card:

4. Navigate to the Payments tab:

5. You'll be prompted to set up a two-step verification – enter your mobile number and click Send code to request a verification code:

6. Input the code received through the message and click Submit. If you didn't receive the code via message, no worries – you'll get it through an automated call within the next 2 minutes:

7. Complete the Address page: First, select the payment type.

🎯 If the payment goes to your agency, please select "Company" in the Type field.

🎯 If the payment goes directly to the creator, please select "Individual".

Then, enter the contact email, phone number, name and mailing address of the recipient. Once completed, click Next.

**If the payment type is set to "Company", the name fields (First Name, Middle Name and Last Name) are optional.

8. Complete the Payment Method page: From the dropdown menu, select the preferred payment method and enter the banking details of the recipient. The payment methods and currencies may differ depending on the country you selected on the Address page (Step 5). Once completed, click Next.

🎯 Make sure to check the "Name on Account" field 🎯

  • If the payment type is set to "Individual", the field will automatically include the name you entered in Step 5 (creator name). No action is required on your side.

  • If the payment type is set to "Company", modify this field to match the company name added in Step 5:

9. Complete the Tax Forms page: The page will automatically detect your location and request the necessary tax information to comply with the local laws of that country/jurisdiction.

10. Complete the VAT information and click Next.

11. Voila! You should see a confirmation message on your screen:
