Q1: Does the information in between Magex and Usewalter get transferred both ways?
A1: NO, Usewalter pulls the information from Magex but Usewalter does not push information to Magex.
This means that changes made in Usewalter will only be saved until the next synchronization between the two platforms.
Note that it is strongly recommended to not allow your residents to make changes to their account because of this.
Best Practice: To ensure that information regarding residents is always accurate, make the changes in Proprio/Condo or Bail Expert and initiate a sync between the two platforms.
Q2: How often does the information in between Magex and Usewalter get updated?
A2: Every night
Note that you can also manually trigger a synchronization at any time.
Login to your Usewalter platform
Click on the Settings icon
If you want to synchronize all your projects, make sure that you are at the managing company level of the platform and go in the Settings section, then click on Synchronize all Magex projects
If you want to synchronize a specific building only, go in that building (project level) and in the Third Party Data section click on Synchronize project data
Q3: Are all Magex data points transferred to Usewalter?
A3: Data points important to use the Usewalter platform are communicated to Usewalter (such as company / properties / units / residents details etc.) Please note that you can decide in your Magex platform (Condo / Proprio or Bail Expert) what properties to publish or not.
