How to Import Videos

We'll cover how to import videos from your phone camera roll in V1 COACH.

Solution Overview

  1. Click the camera icon from the menu

  2. Select an Athlete

  3. Click on 'Import'

  4. Access your camera roll and select the video you’d like to import

  5. Click 'Choose' to save to your app

  6. Click the thumbnail on the lower left to review the imported videos. Tap "Save and Continue with [Athlete's Name]" to import more videos, or "Save and Exit Session" when done.

  7. Imported video will now appear under the Athlete Profile

Tactical Rundown

Step 1

Click the camera icon from the menu. Select the Athlete profile to which you want the video assigned. Click 'Import' in the bottom right corner of the camera screen.

Step 2

Access the camera roll and find the video you'd like to import. Click 'Choose' to add it to your app. To review the imported videos, click the video thumbnail in the bottom left corner of the camera screen.

Step 3

If you want to add additional videos, select 'Save and Continue with "Athlete's Name"' and click 'Import' again.

Tap "Save and Continue with [Athlete's Name]" to import more videos, or "Save and Exit Session" when done.

Step 4

The imported video will show in the 'My Videos' or 'My Sessions' folders on the home screen and in the athlete's profile under the 'Athletes' section.

Step 5

Tip: Rename the video to something meaningful to you. To do this, click the ellipsis (...) next to the video and select 'Edit Video Details.' Click on 'Name' and edit the video's name to your liking. If needed, you can reassign the video to a different athlete by clicking on 'Athlete' and selecting another profile.

FAQs

Why am I getting errors when trying to import?

1. "This video is too long. Please trim and import again."

This error occurs when your video file is too large for the V1 COACH app to process. To resolve this, trim the video and try importing again.

2. "This video format is not supported to import."

This error means the video file format may not be compatible with the V1 COACH app. Convert the video to a supported format and try importing again.

3. "This video resolution or frame rate is not supported for import."

The video's resolution or frame rate may not be supported. Adjust it and try importing again.

4. Nothing happens after clicking "Import."

The V1 COACH app may not have access to your camera roll. To allow access, go to your device's settings, find the V1 COACH app, and enable Photos permissions.
