Deactivating a connection with a Vendor

Deactivating a Vendor in Vantage removes their access while preserving their history for reference.

How to Deactivate a Connection with the Vendor

  1. Go to the Vendors tab on your dashboard.

  2. Hover over the Vendor you wish to deactivate.

  3. Click the “Deactivate” button that appears on the right side.

  4. A confirmation popup will appear—confirm the action to proceed.

Once deactivated:

  • The Vendor will no longer be able to access Vantage, if they did business only for you.

  • They will be removed from all Assignees lists.

  • The name of the Vendor will still appear on historical events for record-keeping.

Viewing Deactivated Vendors

To view all deactivated Vendors:

  1. Open the filters on the Vendors page.

  2. Navigate to the Deactivated tab.
