Logging in for the first time

How to activate your Vantage account and log in for the first time.

Activating your account

When your workspace is set up, you will receive an email invitation from Vantage. Follow these steps to activate your account:

  1. Open the invitation email from Vantage (check your spam folder if you do not see it).

  2. Click Accept invitation.

  3. You will be taken to a registration page. Enter your name and create a password.

  4. Click Create account.

  5. You are now logged in and will land on the Vantage dashboard.

Invitation links expire after 7 days. If your link has expired, ask your workspace admin to resend the invitation from the Users page.

Logging in after account activation

  1. Enter your email address and password.

  2. Click Log in.

Bookmark dashboard.vantage.software for quick access. Your login session stays active unless you log out manually from the profile menu.

Setting your preferences after first login

After logging in, take a minute to set up your account preferences:

  1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  2. Select Account settings.

  3. Set your timezone. This affects how event dates and times display for you.

  4. Set your home page. This is the page that loads when you first log in.

  5. Review your notification settings. These control which updates you receive by email or push notification.

Logging in on mobile

Field teams use the Vantage mobile app rather than the web dashboard. To get started on mobile:

  1. Download the Vantage app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

  2. Open the app and enter your email and password.

  3. Tap Log in.

Lite users log in exclusively through the mobile app. Full users can use both the web dashboard and the mobile app with the same credentials.

FAQ

I did not receive an invitation email.

If you did not receive an invitation email, check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, ask your workspace admin to resend the invitation from the Users page in Vantage.

I forgot my password.

If you forgot your password, go to the login page at https://dashboard.vantage.software/, click Forgot password? and enter your email address. You will receive a password reset link.

Can I use the same account on both web and mobile?

Yes. Your Vantage account works on both the web dashboard and the mobile app using the same email and password.

The invite link is expired even though I haven’t used it yet.

Invite links expire when a security tool automatically clicks the link during an email scan. Contact your IT team for support. Also, we suggest whitelisting the Vantage domain to prevent this from happening again.
