Attaching flags to a project

How to use flags to mark projects that need attention, are running late, or are on hold.

Flags are colour-coded indicators you can attach to a project to signal its current state at a glance. A project can have multiple flags at once, and flags are visible from the project list and board.

Attaching a flag

To attach a flag to a project, open the project drawer and use the flag icon in the header.

  1. Open the project from the board or list view.

  2. Click the flag icon in the project drawer header.

  3. Select the flag you want to attach.

The flag appears on the project immediately. You can attach more than one flag to the same project.

Removing a flag

To remove a flag from a project, open the project drawer and deselect the flag.

  1. Open the project drawer.

  2. Click the flag icon in the header.

  3. Click the attached flag to deselect it.

The flag is removed from the project immediately.

Flag types

The flags available in your workspace are configured by the Vantage team. Common flags include:

  • Very late (red)

  • Late (yellow)

  • On hold (dark/black)

If you need a flag added or renamed, contact Vantage support with the flag name and colour.
