Project statuses

How to set up the statuses that projects move through in your workspace.

Project statuses define the steps a project moves through from start to finish. Vantage has four fixed status categories: New, In Progress, Done, and Canceled, but the statuses within In Progress are fully configurable to match your workflow.

Customizing statuses for the In Progress projects

  1. Go to Workspace settings via the gear icon.

  2. Click Projects, then the Project statuses tab.

  3. Under the In Progress section, click + Add new.

  4. Name the status and save.

  5. Drag statuses to reorder them.

The statuses you added appear on the Project board and in filters.

FAQ

Will changing a status name update existing projects?

Yes. Renaming a status updates it across all projects currently using that status.

Can I have different statuses for different project types?

Not currently. Project stages are workspace-wide and apply to all project types.
