  2. Go to Products → Shopify Sync Hub.

What information is shared?

For upcoming synced orders, The Oblist creates a separate technical Shopify customer profile containing:

  • Full delivery name

  • Shipping address

  • Delivery phone number

  • A private The Oblist relay email

The buyer’s real email address is never shared, and the customer is not subscribed to Shopify marketing.

Customer information must only be used to fulfill The Oblist orders and never for marketing or direct customer communication.

Important information

  • The setting only affects upcoming order synchronizations.

  • Orders already synchronized will not be updated.

  • A separate technical customer profile is created for each order.

  • Disabling the setting stops future profile creation.

  • Previously created profiles are not deleted when the setting is disabled.

  • Applications connected to your Shopify may access the delivery information.

Using an ERP

Some systems require a Shopify customer to be associated with an order before they can import it.

If the customer imports successfully but the phone number is missing, check that your integration maps the Shopify shipping address phone field.
