What is a Parent Container?
A container that holds other containers or products.
Parent-child relationships allow grouped transactions (moving a parent container moves all child containers/products).
Follow these step by step process to creat a Child Container
Step 1 : Navigate to Stock > Containers > Create
Step 2 : Enter the "Indentifier" , "Container type" , "Stock Location"
When selecting a Bin, ensure that you choose one that is already assigned to a container. This container will be recognized as the Parent Container for which the Child Container is being created.
Once the Bin is selected, a prompt will automatically appear for "Container" drop down, allowing you to choose the Parent Container from the dropdown menu.
Click on "Create"
You have successfully created a Child Container
