Issues with music playback

You're listening to a song you and the person you care for love, and then it stops suddenly. Argh - that's really frustrating!

We hear you. We're a team of music lovers, and we too like to listen to get lost in our favourite music uninterrupted.

If you've encountered an issue similar to this, or the music isn't loading at all, here is what you can do to try and fix it:

  • In 90%+ of cases, your music experience has been interrupted due to poor internet connectivity. Have you just moved from one room to another and experienced the interruption? Does your internet cut in and out often? To remedy this, the best thing you can do is:

    • Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Reset your WiFi router, or connect to a more stable internet source

    • Close and reopen the app. If this doesn't work, try restarting your device

    • If you work in a hospital or residential aged care site, it could potentially be your organisation's firewalls that are restricting Vera's internet access. If none of the above solutions work, you can put us in contact with your IT team by emailing us at help@veramusic.com, and we'll see what we can do!

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of Vera. Head to the App Store or Google Play Store, and if there is a prompt to 'Update' your app, please do so.
