Why Was I Charged More Than Expected?

If you see an unexpected or extra charge on your account, here’s what it could be and how to get help.

All payments made through Vidle Housing are securely processed via Stripe. At the time of booking, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown of your total costs, which typically includes:

  • First month’s rent

  • Cleaning fee

  • Partial last month’s rent (if applicable)

  • Pet fee (if applicable)

If you’re seeing a charge that you don’t recognize, please send our support more information—such as the amount charged, the date it was posted, and the last 4 digits of the card used—so we can look into it further for you.

We’re happy to review your billing details and make sure everything is accurate.
