I Filed a Chargeback — What Happens Now?

If you filed a chargeback with your bank, here’s what to expect while we review your case.

We’ve been notified that a chargeback was filed with your payment provider for your recent Vidle Housing stay. As a result, a formal platform-side investigation is now in progress to gather relevant documentation from both you and the host.

During this process:

  • Your original payment will remain disputed until your card issuer completes their review

  • We may reach out to you for supporting documentation, such as:

    • Photos

    • Message transcripts

    • A timeline of events

  • The resolution timeframe is typically 7–14 business days, but can vary depending on your bank
