What If I Can’t Reach My Host?

If your host hasn’t responded after booking, here’s what to do and how Vidle will help.

If you’ve booked a stay and haven’t been able to connect with your host, don’t worry — we’re here to help.

Here’s what to do:

Step 1: Check All Inboxes

  • Hosts may reply via your Vidle Housing inbox, not just your email

  • Be sure to check spam or promotions folders as well

Step 2: Let Us Know

  • If you still haven’t heard back, contact our support team

  • We’ll reach out to the host directly and prompt a reply

Step 3: We’ll Step In If Needed

  • If the host remains unresponsive, we’ll work with you on alternative solutions

  • This may include reassignment, escalation, or refund evaluation depending on the timeline and urgency
