How to Cancel a Non-Confirmed Booking?

Need to cancel your non-confirmed booking? Here's how to do it! If your reservation hasn’t been confirmed yet and no payment has been processed, you can easily cancel your booking inquiry by following these steps:

Step 1: Check the Booking Status

Before canceling, make sure the reservation is not yet confirmed.
If the booking is still pending and payment hasn’t been issued, you're eligible to cancel the inquiry yourself.


Step 2: Cancel the Booking Inquiry

You have two ways to cancel:

Option 1: From “My Trips”

  • Log into your Vidle Housing account

  • Go to “My Trips”

  • Select the booking inquiry you’d like to cancel

  • Click “Cancel Reservation”

Option 2: From Your Messages with the Host

  • Open the message thread with the host

  • Click “Cancel Reservation” directly from the conversation
