Why Is My Booking Still Pending?

Waiting on a booking confirmation? Here's what pending means and when to expect an update.

When you submit a reservation on Vidle Housing, it must be approved by the host before it’s confirmed. If your booking has been pending for a while, here’s what to know:

Host Approval Required
Hosts are given time to review and respond to each booking request.
Until they approve, your reservation will remain in "pending" status.

You Haven’t Been Charged Yet
You will not be charged unless and until the host approves your booking. If they decline or fail to respond, no payment is processed.

We’ll Help You Follow Up
If it’s been more than 48 hours, Vidle Support will reach out to the host to encourage a response.


We can also help you rebook or find a similar unit if time is critical.
