Can’t Reach Your Host Before Check-In?

If your host isn’t replying before arrival, here’s what to do and how we’ll step in.

We know it’s stressful when you’re getting close to check-in and haven’t heard from your host. But don’t worry — Vidle Housing is here to help.

Step 1: Double-Check All Inboxes

Sometimes hosts reply through your Vidle Housing inbox, or their messages may land in your spam or promotions folder.

Check both:

  • Your Vidle Housing dashboard under “My Bookings → Select your Booking →Message Host”

  • Your email inbox, including spam or promotions tabs

Reaching out to your host directly through your dashboard often results in the quickest response.


Step 2: Contact Vidle Housing Support

If you still haven’t heard back, contact Vidle Housing Support.
We’ll immediately reach out to the host on your behalf and request a prompt update.

Tip: Include your reservation ID and check-in date so we can assist faster.


Step 3: If the Host Still Doesn’t Respond

If the host remains unresponsive, don’t worry — we’ll take care of you.
Our team will help you explore next steps, including:

  • Contacting alternative hosts

  • Arranging backup accommodations

  • Initiating a case review if necessary
