Can I Bring My Pet to the Property?

Here’s how to find out if pets are allowed at a Vidle Housing listing.

Updated over 2 months ago

At Vidle Housing, pet policies are set by each individual host, and not all listings allow pets. Some may welcome furry companions, while others may have restrictions based on building rules, type of pet, or length of stay.

How to Check if Pets Are Allowed

  1. Review the listing description for any pet details.

  2. If the pet policy isn’t listed, you can either:

    • Submit a question directly on the property page.

    • Reach out to us for assistance, or

Reach Out to Your Host Before Arrival

For peace of mind, you can contact your host directly before your stay to confirm their pet policy or ask any specific questions:

  • Log into your Vidle Housing account

  • Go to “My Bookings” and select your reservation

  • Then Click "Submit Inquiry or Message Host" through your dashboard

This helps ensure your pet is welcome and that you understand any house rules or additional fees in advance.

Need Us to Ask the Host?

We’re happy to check for you! Just provide:

  • Type of pet

  • Size and breed (if applicable)

  • Whether it’s an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) or a standard pet

We’ll follow up with the host and get back to you with a clear answer — including any pet fees or rules.

Tip: Even if pets are allowed, some hosts may require extra notice or deposits, so reaching out ahead of time can save stress and ensure a smooth stay for you and your furry friend.
