Space Is Shared But Listing Said “Private”

If your unit is being shared when it was advertised as private, here’s what to do.

Updated over 2 months ago

If you arrive and find that parts of your unit are being shared — but the listing was labeled as “Entire Place” — we want to help resolve it right away.

📝 Step 1: Confirm What’s Being Shared
Let us know what areas are not private (e.g., shared kitchen, bathroom, entrance). This helps us understand the issue.

📸 Step 2: Send Photos or a Description
If you can, provide a few quick photos or a short note describing the situation. We’ll use this to verify with the host and assess how it compares to the original listing.

📞 Step 3: We’ll Contact the Host
Vidle will reach out to the host immediately to clarify expectations, confirm whether a mistake occurred, and work toward a resolution.

If the space is clearly misrepresented, we may offer a partial refund, listing correction, or assistance finding a new unit, depending on the severity.

Your privacy matters, and we’re here to help make things right. CustomerSupport@VidleHousing.com
