Lost Your Key or Locked Out?

If you’ve misplaced your key or can’t access your unit, here’s what to do next.

If you’ve lost your key or are unable to enter your unit, don’t worry — we’re here to help you regain access as quickly as possible.

Here’s what to do:

🔑 Step 1: Try the Original Method
Double-check any lockbox or keypad instructions that were originally provided at check-in. Look in your email, text, or Vidle dashboard under “My Bookings.”

📞 Step 2: Contact Vidle Support
Let us know right away that you’re locked out. We’ll contact your host to arrange access — whether that’s a backup code, spare key, or re-entry support.

📍 Step 3: Share Key Info
To help us assist you quickly, please tell us:

  • The full address and unit number

  • Whether you’re currently at the property

  • Which access method you used (key, lockbox, smart lock, etc.)
